About the Role


In Orchata, we help food distributors and local businesses become an online grocery store to deliver their products in a faster and more convenient way to their own customers.


We are currently recruiting top talent for our Sales Team. If you're someone who is passionate about acquiring new customers, applying sales strategies to grow at 10x, and you've a commercial background of at least 2 years, you've find the right path for your career in Orchata.


The Lead Qualifying Specialist role offers a unique opportunity to be one of the first employees in the company working directly on customer acquisition & growth initiatives as well as contributing to the product in the very early phase.


What Will You be Doing?


  • Qualifying leads at the initial stages in the sales funnel.
  • Research potential clients and qualify leads before handing them off to the sales team. 
  • Contact potential customers by cold calling and emails
  • Support commercial operations by reviewing and prioritizing leads across different categories and cities.
  • Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate solutions.
  • Work with other teams to ensure coordination and information flow for the commercial area.


Requirements


  • Minimum experience of 2 years in similar roles.
  • Experience problem solving and passion to analyze, set priorities, and tackle problems effectively and consistently.
  • It is preferred that you have worked in areas related to e-commerce or startups.
  • Comfortable working with large data sets for long periods of time.
  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables.
  • Startup mentality required (taking ownership, being accountable and having a hands-on approach).
